Clare Adams - Development Intern

Clare moved around frequently growing up before her family settled in the Minnesota area while she was in high school.  A lifetime of conversations with her grandfather, a now retired geography professor at the University of Minnesota, and the experiences of hosting German, Austrian, and Chinese foreign students through au pair and student teacher programs developed her interest in education and global issues. Clare just completed her first year at the University of San Diego, where she is leaning towards studying International Relations and Spanish.

On top of studying, Clare spends many early mornings on San Diego’s Mission Bay rowing for the USD Women’s Crew Team and is a member of the school’s Torero Ambassadors Club, representing USD to new and prospective students. Home for the summer, Clare is thrilled to be interning at World Savvy and excited to follow the Tour de France and Twins Baseball with her dad.
