Douglas Sessions - Chief Partnership Officer

Doug's life work has focused on translating hopeful visions into reality, dedicating his professional life to leading organizations that serve children, families and educators in the U.S. and around the world. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of the International Studies School Network at the Asia Society. His earlier career spanned executive roles in the business, nonprofit and K-12 school sectors, including positions at the: International Baccalaureate; Hewlett Packard Company; Archdiocese of Seattle; Vancouver USA Public Schools and an expatriate position for a member of the royal family in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Doug holds: a Bachelor of Arts from Seattle Pacific University where he self-designed his degree in International Service, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland where he was recognized with the Harold Stauffer Secondary Education Award & All-American Scholar status; and is all but dissertation on his Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Washington State University.

Doug is married to Lisa, his wife of thirty years, and is the proud father of his daughter, Emma, a graduate of University of Maryland and an early childhood educator, and his son, Maxwell, a scholar-athlete at Allegheny College.
