Kelsey Larson - Fellow

Kelsey grew up in Burnsville, MN where she first began developing her interest in education. She has enjoyed working with students and educators in various settings since high school. Kelsey earned a B.A. in Educational and American/Critical Race Studies at Macalester College where she enjoyed working as a Program Assistant at the Department of Multicultural Life creating campus events around identity and social justice. Kelsey has also worked with students at Exploration Summer Programs and Humboldt High School and spent a year as a 1st/2nd grade Teaching Assistant at the Friends School of Minnesota. 
 
Kelsey has been involved with World Savvy since 2008 when she first participated in the World Savvy Classrooms program in 9th grade. She was involved in World Savvy Classrooms for three years and was a participant in the first World Savvy AYLP program to Bangladesh in 2011-12. Kelsey also served on the World Savvy Alumni Advisory Board for three years. She is excited for her next chapter with World Savvy as a staff member.
