Girls' Education

This exhibit explores how inequality of girls education impacts society. By researching girls education in three different countries (including the U.S.) , students were able to draw several conclusions:

  • Fewer maternal death and reduced mortality rate for children under 5 years old.

  • Delayed marriage and better parenting skills.

  • Improved literacy skills leading to greater economic opportunities

  • More skills and knowledge enhancing women’s self-esteem and the well-being of families.
