Sue Fluegel- Consultant
In her role at World Savvy, Sue facilitates workshops designed for in-service educators who are interested in embedding global learning into their teaching practice and preparing students to engage with and meet the challenges of 21st century citizenship. She also coaches teachers through the process of integrating curriculum with the study of a significant global issue, develops resources for teacher professional development, and creates materials for student use in classrooms. Even though Sue’s previous work experiences as a business owner and software designer were intellectually interesting, she did not feel her work added to the bottom line of humanity. After entering the field of education, she worked as a teacher and then as an administrator in a dual-language immersion international school. Sue welcomes opportunities to share her passion about global competency.
Sue holds a B.S. in Applied Design and Visual Communications from the University of Minnesota, a Master in Teaching from Seattle University, and is National Board Certified.
