Adam Koehler

Adam Koehler is a World Savvy Professional Learning Facilitator in Minnesota.

He joins the World Savvy team with over 10 years of experience as a teacher, school leader, and experiential educator. Adam’s background in team building and wilderness trip facilitation has helped him create collaborative, hands-on, and inclusive learning experiences for youth and adult learners. As a previous Language Arts teacher in a Montessori/International Baccalaureate classroom, Adam used writing, reading, and speaking as tools to help students engage with local and global issues. He believes in the possibility of transforming education in order to address systemic inequalities and meet the needs of an increasingly interconnected world. He is passionate about cooperative learning, project-based learning, media literacy, and reframing assessment as a teaching/learning tool.

On top of his love of education, Adam loves exploring bookshops, playing guitar, and biking along the Mississippi river gorge.
