Justin Silbaugh

Justin Silbaugh is World Savvy’s Executive Director of our Western Region.

Justin began his service for World Savvy in January 2022. He is a versatile nonprofit leader, facilitator and educator, and has channeled his passion for education in numerous leadership roles in the United States and Africa. Justin lived in Uganda for ten years serving as the director of several grassroots education-focused organizations. He also worked for more than nine years as a director and teacher in public and independent schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Justin co-founded Senior Surf Computer Education which is bridging the digital divide by providing affordable, high-quality computer training for senior citizens. He also serves as an advisor and board chairperson for several organizations in the U.S. and Uganda. 

Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Emory University in Atlanta and his master’s degree in education from National University in San Diego. 

Currently based in Fairfax, CA, he enjoys singing, songwriting, guitar, dance, community-building, conflict resolution, wide-ranging podcasts, international travel, yoga and meditation.
