KK Neimann

KK Neimann has a Masters in Teaching and Curriculum from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and has been working in education for almost 20 years. She has taught social studies at every grade level between 5th and 12th in both public and private school settings. In addition to her classroom experience, she spent 2 years as the Senior Program Associate at World Savvy, a national education nonprofit that works with schools, teachers, and students around global competence. Currently teaching 6th grade at the Blake School in Minneapolis, KK has spent the last 7 years designing and implementing a Humanities program – creating a common experience for all 6th graders that blends reading, writing, and inquiry with the goal of building the essential skills and dispositions that students need to be responsible and engaged citizens in their communities locally and globally.
