Natalie Naranjo

She/Her

Natalie is joining the World Savvy team with experience in K-12 and adult education in formal and informal settings. Most recently, she worked in the IDEAL (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access and Leadership) Center at the Science Museum of Minnesota, developing and delivering professional development to K-12 schools, colleges and other museums. Natalie’s experience with students spans from working with K-5 learners as a STEM outreach educator at the Science Museum of MN, to teaching middle school and high school math and science. As a mixed race, indigenous educator, Natalie is committed to integrating identity development and anticolonial practices into all aspects of teaching and learning. She is stoked to bring these practices and mindsets to her work with educators at World Savvy!

Outside of work at World Savvy, Natalie can be found supporting organizing and solidarity efforts of workers at Twin Cities cultural institutions, consulting as a Healthcare Bias Interrupter, quilting and knitting, and walking or running around Minneapolis.
