Year One

Foundations & Belonging

We begin by building shared understanding, trust, and inclusive classroom cultures. Educators establish strong relationships and norms that help every student feel seen, valued, and ready to learn.

Inquiry & Real-World Learning

Educators design inquiry-driven learning experiences that connect academic content to real-world issues. Students begin asking meaningful questions, collaborating across differences, and engaging more deeply with their learning.

Action & Civic Impact

Students apply their learning to authentic challenges—within their schools and communities. Durable skills become embedded into everyday practice, and schools shift toward sustainable, future-ready systems from the inside out.
